It's been a strange few months. The biggest change was the procedure I had to have a heart pacemaker join my old body. There were a few minor complications, but all in all, it took 55 minutes of surgery and then after 6 1/2 hours I was on my way home.
I have had the 2-week check up and things are going pretty well though I had to add a daily pill to my routine. It is 3 weeks after and I am doing very well.
My a/c unit has been removed for the season. I miss it. It has been unusually warm in my apt for the last several weeks and I could have used it's power. I open windows and turn on 2 fans to keep my apt in a comfy range.
With cooler weather soon upon us I expect to be back to my sewing room once again.
As to cooking, our monthly Potluck dinners continue. This month its meatloaf. I am bringing the mashed potatoes. I continue to go to Bingo here every Wednesday nite and the jigsaw puzzles are keeping me busy as well. For personal meals, I try a new dish every week. Some are very good and some needed some tweaking. I hope to get more recipes posted here soon as well as my sewing accomplishments.
